Save the date: Paludi4All Stakeholder Workshop on Sphagnum Cultivation
Our sister project, Paludi4All, is excited to invite you to their fifth and final in-person workshop of 2026, which is taking place 30 September–1 October in Oldenburg, Germany.
Over two days, attendees will explore how sphagnum cultivation combines biomass production with real climate and environmental benefits:
🔎 Day 1 – Field excursion to Hankhauser Moor to see sphagnum cultivation in action, followed by visits to Torfwerk Moorkultur Ramsloh (biomass processing) and LVG Bad Zwischenahn (substrate testing in tree nurseries)💡
Day 2 – Expert insights, best practice cases, and co-creation sessions on practical challenges, product use, business opportunities, and policy — including a World Café and interactive mapping session
Plenty of room for exchange, networking, and hands-on learning throughout. Palus Demos and PaluWise colleagues especially welcome!
📌 The workshop runs back-to-back with Paludi4All’s annual Project Partner Meeting on 2 October in Hamburg — more details coming in August.
